That's her base design, anyway. Cherrie is my first and therefore oldest OC of mine. I made her before I was in middle school, with the help of my older sibling who encouraged me to make her. The only reason she is not yellow is because I was told by my sibling that she would be "too hard to see," so instead she is purple.
Cherrie is based off of some species that came from a band I am not aware of. I was basically guided along and had opportunities to give input, like her colors, and where the stitches will go (she needed to have at least one, so the one I gave her was on her ear). I had no other idea what the species was about, the vibe they were supposed to give off, or anything. My only vague guess is that it is related to a Fall Out Boy album somewhere, but I never looked into it too much because when I asked for clarification, I was told "no". I was just given this lil' fella and voila! First OC.
I had full liberty to make things up about her. Here are some:
- She likes chilidogs and they make her go hyper.
- She has sharp vampire teeth.
- She is good at the bow&arrow.
- Leader of Team Fantasy.
